Maintain grounds of parks, playgrounds &pathways; sweeping and raking, blowing, weeding, cleaning up litter & garbage containers, clearing brush and debris, using hand and powered tools. Prepare soil for planting, by clearing garbage, weeding & rototilling. Take care of plants, shrubs and trees, removing ivy, pruning, irrigating, planting, transplanting, cultivating. Install traps for gophers. Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, seeding, watering. Operate manual and powered garden equipment: mowers, reciprocator, string trimmer, hedgers, pole saw, chain saw. Drive a cushman with a dumper.
